Key Accountabilities: * Welding of product according to specification & drawing(s) to a quality that ensures acceptance of NDT weld examination & tolerances

• Identify and acquire any controls, processes, equipment, fixtures, resources, and skills that are needed to achieve the required quality.
• Participate in all the steps involved in the fabrication and welding process
• Welding Supervisors are required to work with the engineers regularly to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Responsibility is to delegate work to welders and monitor their work on a regular basis.
• Troubleshooting issues and providing technical support to the staff.
• Preparing and maintain records such as job sheets, employee attendance etc.
• Communicating with the workers, engineers, designers and technicians and maintaining effective co-ordination between them.
• Develop and maintains a weld matrix for tracking the weld process
• Validates the sizing of the weld equipment for each application manage
• Check procedures and equipment to ensure conformance to operation instruction sheets and comply with established priorities and schedules order.
• Maintain adequate inventory of the materials, equipment\'s, tools and consumables required for welding
• Organizing meetings and training sessions as and when the need arises.
• A welding supervisor also needs to make the employees aware of the safety practices and the possible health hazards and precautionary measures.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

• Qualifications: ITI/ Diploma in Mechanical /welding
• Experience: 8+ years in the same field.
• Applying knowledge of welding and cutting techniques, materials, and equipment, and fabrication.
• Knowledge for all type of welding process like SMAW, MIG/MAG, SAW
• Knowledge of welding positions and its applications
• Knowledge of NDT techniques and its applications
