Job Summary: Looking for a Welding Supervisor in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Oversee and coordinate the activities of the welding team, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, as well as providing guidance and support
• Review and interpret welding plans, blueprints, as well as technical specifications to ensure accurate execution of welding projects
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for the welding team and all personnel in the welding area
• Train and mentor welding personnel in various welding techniques, equipment operation, as well as safety practices
• Check and assess the quality of welds to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications
• Collaborate with the production manager and project engineers to plan and prioritize welding tasks to meet production schedules as well as project deadlines
• Monitor and maintain welding equipment, ensuring proper functionality and arranging for repairs or maintenance as required
• Resolve any technical issues or conflicts that arise during welding projects
• Perform any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in the same or similar position
• Strong knowledge of various welding processes and their applications in different materials
• Strong understanding of welding standards, codes, as well as quality control procedures
• Must be familiar with welding equipment, tools, as well as machinery, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse welding team
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work well under pressure to meet project deadlines
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in welding and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, as well as welding symbols
