Tailored to a role supporting documentation in a major terminal expansion project and along with handling Terminal Projects, Quality Control & Maintenance.
Looking for an immediate joiner with a visit/cancel visa is preferable and experience from the home country is considerable.
Experience: 1-2 Years
Location: Hamriyah Freezone, Sharjah
1. Supervise and monitor all welding activities at the project site to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards (e.g., ASME, AWS, API).
2. Review and verify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Qualification Test Records (WQTR).
3. Ensure proper fit-up and joint preparation prior to welding, including alignment, root gap, and material condition.
4. Interpret and review technical drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and welding symbols to verify field execution accuracy.
5. Read and interpret Radiographic Testing (RT) reports, Dye Penetrant (DP) test results, Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and other NDT reports to evaluate weld integrity and compliance.
6. Coordinate with QA/QC and third-party inspectors for all inspection and testing activities.
7. Maintain detailed records of welding activities, inspections, NDT results, and repair logs.
8. Identify and report non-conformances, ensure corrective actions are implemented, and assist in root cause analysis and resolution.
9. Verify traceability of welding consumables and base materials used in construction.
10. Ensure all welding and fabrication activities are conducted in line with HSE standards and company safety policies.
