Welding Supervisor (offshore)
Job Description
Job Purpose: Supervise pipeline welding operations on offshore barges/vessels, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to client specifications. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all welding activities, including SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW processes for pipelines. Select and monitor welders, ensuring compliance with welding procedures (API 1104, DNV OS-F 101). Coordinate with NDT personnel and client inspection teams for quality assurance. Manage welding consumables inventory and replenishment. Conduct toolbox talks and troubleshoot welding issues to maintain progress. Requirements: 10+ years in Oil & Gas pipeline welding. Certifications in SMAW/FCAW/GMAW; familiarity with carbon steel and CRA clad materials. Offshore safety training and fluency in English.
