Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Policies, Processes & Compliance

Implement and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions. Ensure strict adherence to Information Security and data protection guidelines. Maintain compliance with ISO 3834-2 and other applicable quality standards.

2. Planning & Execution

Review job specifications and prepare detailed welding execution plans. Coordinate pre-job planning (sequence, manpower, WPSs, equipment availability, environmental requirements). Develop and review fabrication strategies and risk assessments. Validate welding qualifications, consumables, and environmental/workplace conditions before job commencement.

3. Welding Operations & Monitoring

Supervise welding activities ensuring parameters are maintained per WPS. Ensure accurate fit-up inspections and dimensional checks. Monitor preheat, interpass temperatures, back gouging, and PWHT as per HTPS. Ensure traceability of welds, consumables, welders, and dates. Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

4. Quality Control & Reporting

Ensure all inspections, NDT before/after PWHT, and intermediate checks are performed per ITP. Support proactive reporting of non-conformities through the NCIR system. Maintain project files and submit field reports and progress updates.

5. Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ)

Comply with all safety and environmental procedures and stop unsafe work. Conduct site safety checks and risk assessments. Immediately report hazards or incidents. Guide workforce on safety measures and ensure safe work practices.

6. People Management

Supervise, train, and appraise subordinates. Coordinate manpower requirements and assess training needs. Motivate team to achieve performance targets and quality standards.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

Experience:
