Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Welding Inspector to join our Dubai operations. The role focuses on ensuring welding activities on piping, pressure vessels and skid packages meet all applicable codes, client specifications and Proclad's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect welding operations for piping, pressure vessels and skids during fabrication and assembly. Verify welders' qualifications and WPS/PQR compliance. Conduct visual inspections and coordinate required NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MT, PAUT, TOFD). Review and maintain welding records, material traceability and inspection reports. Liaise with production, quality and client representatives to address non-conformities and corrective actions. Support coating inspection if certified.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Welding Inspector in the oil & gas industry, specifically in piping, pressure vessels and skid manufacturing. Certified Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1 / AWS-CWI). NDT Level II qualifications - ASNT Level II or PCN/ISO 9712 (RT, UT, PT, MT, PAUT, TOFD) or equivalent. Preferred: Coating Inspector certification NACE Level II / BGAS Level II or equivalent. Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS). Excellent reporting, communication and problem-solving skills.
