Job Overview:

We are seeking skilled

SMAW Welders

with proven experience in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidates should be capable of performing high-quality welding work in accordance with industry standards, drawings, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)

on carbon steel and alloy materials as per project specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings, WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications), and material specifications. Carry out fabrication, repair, and maintenance welding on pipelines, structures, and pressure vessels. Ensure all welds meet quality and dimensional standards. Conduct pre-welding and post-welding inspections in coordination with QA/QC team. Follow all safety, health, and environmental regulations during operations.

Requirements:

Minimum

2 years of experience

in the oil & gas industry.

Knowledge of ASME / AWS standards

preferred. Valid

welding qualification certificate (3G / 4G / 6G)

an advantage. Ability to work under pressure and in confined spaces. Basic English communication skills (spoken & written). Immediate joiners preferred.

Salary:

Based on experience and qualification.

Working Hours:

9 hours/day + overtime as per project needs.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: QAR2,500.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
