Welder (ARC/MIG) and Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking an experienced ARC/MIG Welder to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding heavy steel like scaffolding and be proficient in various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform ARC or MIG welding on heavy materials. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Conduct quality inspections of welds to ensure adherence to specifications. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Assemble and install machinery and equipment according to technical drawings. Perform regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal operation. Conduct repairs on malfunctioning machinery, diagnosing issues effectively. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to support project goals. Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in all tasks. Document maintenance activities and report on machinery performance.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an ARC or MIG Welder. Ability to handle and manipulate heavy materials. Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
