What you will be doing:
Provide friendly, efficient, and professional front office service, including warm welcomes, check-ins, and check-outs.
Anticipate guest needs, handle cash transactions, and maintain Pullman service standards.
Monitor room status, manage guest complaints, and ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain accurate guest profiles and follow VIP protocols.
Adhere to local government requirements and Pullman guidelines for guest management.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and meet Pullman's high standards.
Assist guests with luggage handling and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations efficiently using the hotel's booking system.
Manage incoming calls and emails, providing prompt and courteous responses to inquiries.
Collaborate with other departments to arrange special requests or services for guests.
Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring all necessary materials are readily available.
Assist in emergency situations and implement safety procedures when required.
Upsell room upgrades and additional services to maximise hotel revenue.
Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on Pullman's policies and hospitality trends.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of guest services by providing feedback and suggestions.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Thriving in fast-paced environments and love creating memorable guest experiences.
Previous experience in hospitality is a strong advantage.
Tech-savvy with Opera or similar systems
Guest-oriented, approachable, and genuinely service-minded
Fluency in English; additional languages are a great asset
Sales-driven mindset
A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages is highly valued
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg when necessary
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanour under pressure
Impeccable personal grooming and adherence to Pullman's appearance standards
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays
