Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

-Design and implement water treatment systems including filtration, chemical dosing, and disinfection processes.

-Monitor and optimize water purification processes to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.

-Conduct feasibility studies for new water treatment projects and upgrades to existing infrastructure.

-Perform water quality testing and analyze results to identify contaminants and recommend corrective actions.

-Collaborate with civil and environmental engineers on integrated water management solutions.

-Oversee installation and maintenance of treatment equipment such as pumps, tanks, and control systems.

-Prepare technical reports and documentation for regulatory compliance and internal audits.

-Advise municipalities or industrial clients on water reuse, conservation strategies, and sustainability practices.

Required Skills:

-Strong understanding of hydraulics, fluid mechanics, and chemical processes.

-Proficiency in CAD software and hydraulic modeling tools.

-Knowledge of local and international water regulations and standards.

-Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

-Ability to work in field environments, including construction sites and treatment plants.

-Strong communication and project management abilities.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, Civil Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.

-Professional certification or licensure (e.g., PE, Chartered Engineer,PMP) is often preferred.

-Experience in water treatment design, operations, or consulting is highly desirable.
