Job Description

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Performs various activities such as operation, maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of the Wastewater treatment plant facilities and its equipment. Operation & maintenance knowledgeable in Plant equipment such as Pumps, blowers, MBR, pretreatment equipment, scrubbers, sludge dewatering equipment & others etc. Carry out periodic/adequate inspections to access/monitor, adjust and maintain wastewater treatment plant equipment to achieve desired process control objectives. Reporting such as day to day activities, monthly report generation (flow/chemicals/consumables/spares), preventive or breakdown related & maintenance activities. Familiar with maintenance and troubleshooting of all types of instrumentation. Collect, verify & carry out tests on different parameters on sewage treatment. Report any abnormalities with clear details for records. Communicate with superior on-site management & haulage requirements. Clean and maintain equipment, tanks & site other work areas. Aware of related environmental laws and regulations. Aware of all safety standards related to plant operation & maintenance.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment treatment processes and its related equipment. Knowledge on control panels, Process automation SCADA & PLC systems. Process & Equipment troubleshooting capabilities. Working in a confined or classified space. Able to access the situation & take the appropriate solution to incase process abnormalities occur. Proper/safe handling of chemicals/consumables. Should be able to work in shifts & prepare activities reports & manage the entire site.

Qualification:

Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial/Environmental or equivalent level. Minimum 2-3 years experience in operation and maintenance of Sewage treatment plants.
