Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Setup:

Install washing machines in residential and commercial properties, ensuring all components are properly set up and functioning.

Repair and Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and repair faults in washing machines, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues.

Routine Maintenance:

Perform preventative maintenance on washing machines to ensure optimal functioning and longevity.

Customer Support:

Communicate effectively with customers to understand their concerns, provide clear explanations of repair options, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Parts Management:

Order and maintain inventory of necessary parts and tools required for repairs and installations.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate service records, including job details, time spent, parts used, and other relevant information.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety standards, using proper equipment and practices.

Emergency Services:

Provide on-call services for urgent repair needs, when required.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a washing machine technician or in a related field (e.g., appliance repair). Strong knowledge of washing machine brands, models, and repair techniques. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Ability to diagnose and solve problems independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (if applicable for travel to customer sites). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications in appliance repair are a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification or training in appliance repair or related technical fields. Experience with troubleshooting both front-load and top-load washing machines.
