The Warehouseman is responsible for materials management in support of rig, logistics and camp operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ROLE
\xc2\xb7 To conduct all materials management activities safely and in accordance with the Company\'s HSE policies
\xc2\xb7 To manage the receipt, storage, usage, return and re-supply of consumables and capital items on the rig and camp
\xc2\xb7 To ensure the storage and handling of any hazardous materials in accordance with Company policy, manufacturers\' recommendations and local legislation
\xc2\xb7 To produce timely reports on the inventory and usage of spares
\xc2\xb7 To conduct periodic reviews of stock levels and make recommendations for changes
RESPONSIBILITIES
\xc2\xb7 Carry out all duties in the safest possible manner and ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) is used correctly
\xc2\xb7 Maintain the warehouse inventory of spares for the rig and camp in accordance with Nabors systems
\xc2\xb7 Provide for security under safe lock and key of the spares inventory
\xc2\xb7 Monitor the maximum safe storage periods for any items which have prescribed shelf life limits
\xc2\xb7 Initiate Materials Requests (MRs) for the spares inventory or capital items together with the respective department head at rig site
\xc2\xb7 Amend the rig inventory system to include spares for additional capital equipment installed on the rig
\xc2\xb7 Arrange for Materials Transfers (MTs) for movement of materials to and from other rigs
\xc2\xb7 Ensure that all purchasing is carried out to the highest ethical standards
\xc2\xb7 Monitor progress reports of outstanding MRs
\xc2\xb7 Produce monthly inventory and financial reports of stock levels, issues, receipts and values
\xc2\xb7 Keep records of materials movements and inventory levels, issues and produce reports to the Area Office in a format which meets local customs and fiscal requirements for reporting purposes
\xc2\xb7 Carry out receiving function for equipment deliveries and unpack and take into inventory
\xc2\xb7 Arrange for local purchases where they are feasible
\xc2\xb7 Discuss regularly with the Rig Manager forthcoming rig operations and any impact they may have on spares usage
\xc2\xb7 Secure all spares for handling and transit of the rig warehouse during rig moves
\xc2\xb7 Maintain personal training and in particular keep knowledge of Nabors systems current
\xc2\xb7 Provide on the job training for Trainee Storekeepers or warehouse personnel
\xc2\xb7 Cooperate with specialist and/or subcontractor personnel in the preparation of accurate customs and other documentation required for the importation or exportation of rig, logistics or camp equipment

Preferred Qualifications
\xc2\xb7 Tech/Vocational Cert/Apprenticeship
\xc2\xb7 Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as Warehouseman
\xc2\xb7 Computer proficiency in software applications to include MS Word, Excel and Outlook
