WAREHOUSE MANAGER - Stock Control & Production Supervisor

Role Overview

The Stock Control & Production Supervisor/Assistant supports Montroi's production and warehouse operations by ensuring accurate inventory management, smooth production workflows, and high-quality product preparation.
This is a hands-on operational role ideal for someone organised, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with fragrance products, incense, amenities, and accessories.

Key Responsibilities

1. Stock Control & Inventory Management
Maintain accurate records of all stock movements (raw materials, packaging, finished goods).
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with monthly physical inventory checks.
Update inventory sheets or systems and report discrepancies to the Production Manager.
Monitor low stock levels and notify the Production Manager in advance.
Keep warehouse and storage shelves organised for efficient access and workflow.

2. Production Support & Assembly
Assist in daily production tasks including perfume filling, capping, labelling, sealing, and packaging.
Support incense packing, amenity preparation, and gift-set assembly.
Follow production instructions provided by the Production Manager.
Ensure proper use of equipment and maintain clean production stations.
Report any issues with materials, tools, or production quality immediately.

3. Quality Control
Check incoming materials for damages, inconsistencies, or quality issues.
Inspect finished goods to ensure they meet Montroi's standards before packing.
Maintain a clean and hygienic production environment at all times.

4. Order Preparation
Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders for Montroi stores, B2B partners, and online customers.
Label cartons, prepare shipping documentation when needed, and coordinate with couriers for pickup.
Ensure all orders are packed according to brand guidelines.

5. Warehouse Operations Support
Support receiving inbound shipments and placing items in correct storage areas.
Keep production and warehouse areas tidy, properly organised, and safe.
Assist with waste disposal and recycling of materials.

6. Coordination & Reporting
Communicate daily progress, shortages, and issues to the Production Manager.
Help maintain logs of production output, stock levels, and material use.
Follow all SOPs and contribute suggestions for workflow improvements.
Skills & Qualifications

Required

3 years of experience in production, warehouse, or stock control roles.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to handle manual tasks (packing, lifting, moving stock).
Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills for inventory updates.
Clear communication in English.

Preferred

Experience with fragrances, cosmetics, FMCG, or light manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with batch coding, labelling, or quality control processes.
Ability to supervise casual workers during peak periods.
