Then you are the right fit to join us in Building the Future of Events together! We are currently hiring a Warehouse Manager for our Rental Department. Under the guidance of the Rental Department Head, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for warehouse operations, in all facets including but not limited to, inventory management, demand forecasting, preparation, tracking, packing, labelling, distribution and maintenance of materials as well as the correlated administrative works. Main Accountabilities (list is non exhaustive): TEAM MANAGEMENT:
Responsible for all the warehouse activity, and point of contact for the requests related to rental department warehousing
Release weekly warehouse planning, manpower allocation and progress report
In charge of organizing and optimizing the workforce at the warehouse to limit external manpower usage
Ensure departmental objectives are achieved
STOCK & FACILITIES MANAGEMENT:
Maintain ERP systems (such as inventory ledgers) with accurate information to enable optimum reporting and performance
Preparation & analysis of inventory reports
Execution of all types of inventories counts and reporting of discrepancies
Reception and issuance of inventory (verify correctness c/w matching documentation)
Ensuring that inventories and ready for use, as per the set standards
Responsible for general warehouse management (e.g. safekeeping of premises, inventory, keys and ensures adherence to all regulations in respect of inventory management.)
Ensuring proper labeling of inventory, HSE risks and overall cleanliness of premises
Optimization of storage – definition of proper storage equipment and methods
QUALITY MANAGEMENT:
Ensuring back to stock reporting is done on every project (Quantity and Quality)
Organizing material maintenance, scrapping, spare part dismantling
Ensuring pre-cleaning activity is organized on sensitive and long prep lead time elements
Quality forecast on depreciating elements (soon to be on “not rentable quality”)
PROCESS:
Continuous review and monitoring of warehouse processes
Proposing process improvements
MATERIAL PREPARATION:
Preparation as per BOI
Material quality
Material quantity
Material labelling
MATERIAL LOADING AND OFFLOADING: Ensuring and managing loading of trucks:
Preparing packing list using stock data base codification.
Ensuring truck loading as per project priorities, build up sequence
Ensuring labelling of stillages loaded for easy tracking on site
Providing drivers with the loading checklist to be given at site delivery
Optimizing the number of trucks per project
Ensuring and managing off-loading of trucks:
Ensuring physical count at truck offloading
Reporting to OM any missing material or non-properly packed material on a timely manner
SITE COORDINATION:
Liaising the arrival of material on site with site foreman or PM in charge (right place, right time, right material, right packing list)
OPERATIONS
Furniture daily planning and manpower allocation
Any other task, as reasonably requested
