Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Helper to assist with the loading and unloading of furniture for delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that all furniture is handled with care and delivered to customers in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Loading and Unloading: Safely and efficiently load and unload furniture from delivery trucks, ensuring that all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
Inventory Management: Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory, ensuring that all furniture is properly stored and accounted for.
Delivery Preparation: Prepare furniture for delivery by wrapping, packing, or securing items as needed.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with delivery drivers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth and timely delivery operations.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing loading and unloading tasks, including the proper use of equipment such as forklifts and dollies.
Quality Control: Inspect furniture for any damages or defects before loading, reporting any issues to the supervisor for resolution.
Customer Service: Occasionally assist in delivering furniture to customers, ensuring a positive and professional interaction.
