Job Summary: Looking for a Warehouse Coordinator in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Coordinate and manage the overall operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing as well as distributing materials and products
• Ensure accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying quantity and quality of goods against packing lists or invoices
• Oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and reconciling discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory levels
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations and implementing proper storage techniques to prevent damage or loss of goods
• Implement and maintain efficient warehouse procedures, including optimizing layout, implementing best practices as well as utilizing warehouse management systems to streamline operations
• Collaborate with purchasing and production departments to coordinate the timely delivery of materials and products to meet production schedules and customer orders
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to warehouse operations, including shipping errors, inventory discrepancies, and customer complaints
• Maintain documentation and records of warehouse activities, including receiving reports, shipping logs, and inventory records
• Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in warehouse management, recommending and implementing relevant technologies or systems
• Train and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure productivity, accuracy, and adherence to standard operating procedures
• Carry out any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor\'s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field of study
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a similar role required
• Must have strong knowledge of warehouse processes
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to lead and supervise a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Must be familiar with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify process improvements and resolve issues
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required
