About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Wall Painter with hands-on experience working on gypsum board surfaces. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, ability to achieve high-quality finishes, and work efficiently in construction or renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare walls and gypsum board surfaces for painting, including sanding, patching, and priming.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Mix paints and coatings to achieve desired colors and textures.
Ensure smooth, even, and professional finishes on all surfaces.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow safety standards and maintain a clean work area.
Work as part of a team and coordinate with other construction staff.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a wall painter, particularly on gypsum board or drywall surfaces.
Knowledge of surface preparation, painting techniques, and finishing methods.
Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines.
Physically fit and able to work on ladders or scaffolding when needed.
Attention to detail, precision, and quality orientation.
Team player with good communication skills.
Willingness to work full-time with potential shift or project-based schedules.
