Job Description

As Hostess:



Warm Welcome:

Greet guests in a traditional and friendly Arabic style. Use Arabic greetings like "Ahlan wa sahlan" or "Marhaban" if appropriate.

Guest Management:

Maintain the reservation system and waitlist. Escort guests to tables with a smile and offer menus.

Ambience & Cleanliness:

Ensure the entrance, reception, and waiting area are always clean and welcoming. Monitor music, lighting, and table settings to reflect Arabic ambiance.

Special Guest Handling:

Acknowledge VIP guests and large group reservations. Handle customer complaints tactfully and inform the manager when necessary.

As Waitress:



Menu Knowledge:

Memorize and explain dishes such as Mezza, Manakish, Fattoush, Kibbeh, Shawarma, Kunafaetc. Suggest popular Lebanese dishes and drinks like Ayran or Jallab*.

Table Service:

Take orders accurately and deliver food promptly. Serve food and beverages in traditional Lebanese service style. Refill water and check on guest satisfaction throughout the meal.

Cleanliness & Hygiene:

Maintain personal hygiene and uniform appearance. Clean and reset tables quickly after guest departure.

Upselling:

Recommend signature dishes, desserts, or combo meals to increase revenue.

Cash Handling:

Process bills accurately. Handle card and cash payments.

Teamwork:

Support colleagues during busy hours (carrying trays, refilling drinks). Work under supervision of FOM or Restaurant Manager.
