Job Title: Waitress (Server)
Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Maitre D'
Job Summary:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and engaging Waitress to provide exceptional table service to our guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about food and beverage, possesses a keen eye for detail, and is dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences through attentive and anticipatory service.
Key Responsibilities:

• Service Execution:
• Present menus, articulate daily specials, and answer any menu-related questions knowledgeably.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages correctly, following established service protocols.
• Monitor guest tables throughout the meal, ensuring all needs are met in a timely manner.
• Guest Interaction:
• Provide warm, friendly, and professional service while building rapport with guests.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to requests.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary.
• Teamwork & Side Work:
• Work collaboratively with servers, bussers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Perform opening, closing, and side duties, including polishing glassware/silverware, restocking service stations, and cleaning sections.
• Process cash and credit card payments accurately using the POS system.
• Product Knowledge:
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Have a working knowledge of the wine list and cocktail menu to make informed recommendations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Waitress/Server in a fast-paced, high-quality restaurant.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Strong knowledge of food service etiquette and standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays.
