Waiter/Waitress
Reports To: Head Waiter, Junior Supervisor, Restaurant Manager
Job Overview:
The Waiter/Waitress is the primary point of contact for guests during their meal. They are responsible for providing a positive and efficient dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Interaction:
- Greet guests, present menus, and explain menu items and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Order Delivery:
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
- Payment Processing:
- Present bills, process payments, and handle cash accurately.
- Teamwork:
- Collaborate with food runners, baristas, and bartenders to ensure seamless service.
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently on your feet.
- Basic math skills for handling payments.
