We are in need of Waiters and Waitresses are responsible for providing excellent customer service in restaurants, cafes, or hospitality venues. They take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Greet customers politely and present menus.
* Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
* Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and professional manner.
* Check on customers during the meal to ensure satisfaction.
* Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
* Prepare tables with clean linens, cutlery, glassware, and condiments.
* Handle customer complaints or concerns courteously and efficiently.
* Process bills and payments (cash or card) accurately.
* Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and service stations.
* Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
* Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for timely service.
* Upsell additional items or specials to maximize sales.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality training is a plus).
* Previous experience in food service is an advantage.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Friendly, professional, and presentable appearance.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Good memory and attention to detail.
* Teamwork and multitasking abilities.
* Basic math skills for handling bills and cash.
