Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is a luxurious beachside resort located on the west crescent of the iconic Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The interior of the resort is inspired by the ancient palaces of Turkey and features hand-painted finishings, Turkish artworks and stunning murals inspired by the Golden Age of the Ottoman Empire. The resort offers 405 rooms and suites, 38 Royal Residences and the award-winning Talise Ottoman Spa, one of the largest and most luxurious spas in the Middle East. About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Waiter/ess which will be anticipate and meet guest\'s needs and requests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction from pre arrival through departure, and recognize all returning and VIP guests.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

The main responsibilities are:

• Greet guests with warm welcome and smile. Escort them to their tables. Answer inquiries about

food and beverage items on the menu * Assist guests by explaining how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and

cooking methods, where applicable * Be aware of allergy information on menu items and inform guests where needed or inquired

• Inform guests of daily specials or special items/promotions not listed on menu
• Check customer\'s identification to ensure they meet alcohol legal age requirements or

requirements as per local law * Offer food and wine suggestions. Take food and beverage orders accurately including any

special requests. Inform Kitchen as per the request. * Input the order into PO System, if needed

• Work with bartenders to fill beverage orders. Work with kitchen staff to process and expedite

food orders * Deliver and serve food at tables. Use established food handling and serving techniques as per

Jumeirah standard

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Higher Secondary School certificate or Country specific certification
• Basic Food and Hygiene Training
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Adaptability and appreciation of cultural diversity
• Team Player with accuracy and attention to detail
• Reliable, Honest and Sincere showing high level of energy
• Proficient in English (Read/Write/Speak - Essential)
• Knowledge of additional language (Desired)
• At least 1 year of experience as a waiter/waitress in a luxury hotel.
