The Waiter is responsible for providing efficient, courteous service to guests in the dining area. This includes welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience in line with service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests and present menus in a friendly and professional manner.
Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
Serve meals and beverages promptly, ensuring quality presentation and customer satisfaction.
Check on guests during the meal to ensure everything is satisfactory.
Clear and reset tables between customers.
Handle guest complaints or requests professionally and promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area at all times.
Assist with setting up and closing the restaurant or dining area.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen and other service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Previous experience in food & beverage or hospitality is an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer-focused attitude and friendly personality.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
