Waiter
Job Description
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Present menus, explain daily specials, and take food and beverage orders accurately.
Serve food and beverages promptly and in accordance with hotel standards.
Ensure all guest requests and complaints are handled politely and efficiently.
Clear tables, reset them for the next guests, and maintain a tidy dining area.
Assist with the setup and service of banquets, events, and room service as required.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and hotel facilities to assist guests effectively.
Follow all hygiene, safety, and grooming standards.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
Process guest payments accurately and issue receipts.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or service training preferred. Previous experience as a waiter, preferably in a hotel or fine dining environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-oriented with a positive and professional attitude. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling. Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
