Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent dining experiences for our guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and present menus.
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff promptly.
- Serve meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
- Check with customers to ensure satisfaction with each course.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
- Process payments using POS systems and handle cash transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in customer service is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling payments.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
