About the Role

We're looking for an energetic Game Master & Waiter to create unforgettable game nights for our guests. This is a dual role: you'll host and teach board games and provide friendly, fast table service.

Key Responsibilities

Game Master Duties

Welcome guests and help them choose games based on group size, mood, and experience level. Explain rules clearly and quickly, adjusting to different learning styles. Run game sessions smoothly: set up tables, track time, assist during play, and keep energy high. Recommend add-on games or expansions and encourage guests to try new titles. Clean, reset, and sanitize games after every session: wipe components, reorganize pieces, ensure cards/tiles are complete, and re-box neatly. Keep game shelves organized, ensure pieces are complete, and report missing/damaged items. Create a fun, inclusive vibe for all players--beginners and hardcore gamers alike.

Waiter / Service Duties

Take food and drink orders accurately and enthusiastically. Serve items promptly and check in on tables without interrupting gameplay. Upsell cafe bestsellers and specials in a casual, friendly way. Maintain cleanliness of tables and service areas throughout shifts. Handle bills, payments, and customer questions smoothly. Coordinate with the team to manage busy rush hours efficiently.

What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)

Extrovert personality: you enjoy meeting new people, performing a little, and leading groups. Natural interest in board games: you don't need to know every game, but you should be excited to learn and teach. Strong communication skills--clear, confident, and warm. Ability to multitask calmly in a lively cafe environment. Comfortable being on your feet and moving between tables for long periods. Team player with a positive, "let's make their night awesome" attitude. Careful and responsible with game components -- you'll be trusted to keep our collection clean, complete, and well-presented.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
