Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Servicing:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance of VRV/VRF systems, split units, and package units and also refrigeration equipment (freezers, fridge, coolers, etc.).
Clean filters, check refrigerant levels, inspect electrical components, and calibrate thermostats and controls.
Ensure smooth functioning of indoor and outdoor VRF units by regularly inspecting compressor performance, fan operation, and inverter functions.
Perform leak detection, vacuuming, refrigerant recovery and recharging in accordance with safety and environmental standards.
Troubleshooting and Repair:
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in VRV/VRF systems including communication failures, sensor malfunctions, and electronic expansion valve issues.
Interpret VRV/VRF system error codes using service tools and control panels to pinpoint system malfunctions.
Repair or replace defective components including compressors, fan motors, PCBs, sensors, and control boards.
Analyze system operating parameters such as pressure, temperature, and current to identify inefficiencies or failure trends.
Coordinate with OEM technical support or manuals when dealing with complex VRV/VRF issues.
