Install VRF indoor and outdoor units, piping, wiring, and controls as per blueprints and engineering plans.
Charge systems with refrigerant, perform vacuum tests, and commission VRF systems using OEM software tools.
Maintenance & Repairs:
Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues in VRF systems.
Repair mechanical and electrical components, diagnose refrigerant flow problems, and restore system performance.
Technical Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain detailed service logs, installation checklists, and commissioning reports.
Provide feedback and recommendations for system upgrades or modifications.
Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to safety procedures, company policies, and local HVAC codes and standards.
Ensure compliance with EPA refrigerant handling regulations.
Customer Service:
Communicate effectively with clients regarding system operations, maintenance schedules, and technical issues.
Provide training to clients or building maintenance personnel on VRF system use.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma or certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or related technical field.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience working with VRF systems (Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Samsung, or similar).
EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal).
Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, manifold gauges, and VRF commissioning software.
