Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. The primary purpose of this role is to perform preventative and corrective maintenance across a wide range of building systems. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with proven expertise in at least two hard services verticals, ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and reliability of all facility assets.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Maintenance Duties:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on various building systems as per established schedules and checklists.
• Conduct prompt and effective corrective maintenance to diagnose and resolve breakdowns and faults.
• Utilize expertise in at least two of the following hard services verticals:
• MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing): Maintenance of pumps, motors, DBs, lighting systems, water supply, and drainage systems.
• HVAC (VRF Systems Specific): Servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing VRF outdoor units, indoor fan coils, controllers, and associated components. Handling refrigerant pressures and leaks.
• Elevators / Lifts: Basic troubleshooting, coordination with specialized vendors, and performing minor adjustments under guidance (as per permit scope).
• BMS (Building Management System): Monitor BMS alarms, perform basic point-to-point checks, assist technicians with actuator and sensor replacements, and optimize system performance for energy efficiency.
• Civil & Architectural: Minor repairs to walls, floors, ceilings, doors, locks, tiles, and paintwork.
• CCTV & Security Systems: Troubleshooting camera feeds, replacing faulty cameras, DVR/NVR maintenance, and basic wiring repairs.
• Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests and participate in the on-call rotation roster.

Operational & Safety Compliance:

• Adhere strictly to all company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures at all times.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local UAE regulations and standards (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defence).
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, PM tasks, and parts used within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Manage and maintain inventory of critical spares, tools, and equipment.

Administration & Communication:

• Provide timely updates to the Maintenance Supervisor/Chief Engineer on job status, delays, or requirements for additional support.
• Liaise and coordinate with approved sub-contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, ensuring their work meets quality standards.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation for audits.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical maintenance role within the UAE.
• Must have demonstrable hands-on experience in at least two of the listed hard services verticals (MEP, HVAC-VRF, Elevators, BMS, Civil, CCTV).
• A valid UAE driving license is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and O&M manuals.
• Proficiency with a wide array of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (multimeters, pressure gauges, etc.).
• Basic computer skills for logging work orders and responding to emails.

Soft Skills:

• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Initiative: A self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Teamwork: Collaborative spirit, able to work effectively within a diverse team.
• Communication: Good verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Flexibility: Willingness to work outside normal hours for emergencies and be on a call-out rotation.

Education:

• A high school diploma is required.
• A relevant technical certification or diploma (e.g., in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering) is strongly preferred.
• Any additional trade-specific certificates (e.g., HVAC certification, DEWA Authorized Personnel card) are a significant advantage.
