To assist the Head of Investor Relations (IR) in developing and implementing a functional objectives, policies and initiatives to continuously maintain and improve the relations between the group and its investors as well as the general financial community.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive investor relations strategies aligned with the bank\'s financial objectives and market trends.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, bondholders, sell-side analysts and rating agencies.
• Lead and coordinate the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports and presentations for investors and other relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, research, and benchmarking to proactively address investor inquiries and concerns.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Treasury, Finance, Communications and Legal teams to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information to debt investors.
• Organize and participate in investor conferences, roadshows, and other events to promote the bank\'s securities.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and disclosure practices to enhance transparency and clarity.
• Provide guidance to the senior management and collaborate with other departments to enhance investor engagement and perception.

Strategic Contribution

• Ensure effective cascading of the functional strategy into department business plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies.

People Management

• Manage the effective achievement of assigned objectives through the leadership of the investor relations department by setting of individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff to maximize sectional performance.
• Lead the talent development initiatives for the assigned department, collaborating with technical/discipline experts and thereby ensure the availability of talent to fit business requirements.
• Act as a role model and drive adherence to organizational values and ethics by employees of the assigned department to foster a value driven culture within the Group.

Budgeting and Financial Planning

• Manage the preparation and recommend the department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget while ensuring all sectional activities are conducted in line with the approved guidelines.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

• Manage and ensure effective implementation of the investors relations functional policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.

Financial Health Reporting

• Manage the timely delivery and review the formulation and the presentation of all reports regarding the financial health of the group such as quarterly and annual reports for current and potential investors in order to direct and maintain the group\'s disclosure policy and protect the group interests.

Investor Relations

• Direct the implementation of investor communication events and meetings in order to ensure the consistent communication of the group interests and ensure compliance to the group\'s disclosure requirements.
• Educate and update investors, analysts and rating agencies about the group so that information is carefully disclosed for the benefits of the group.

PR & External Communication

• Collaborate with Marketing & Branding and Strategic Research to develop the full investor relations toolkit including investor relations presentations, press releases and communication materials for earnings releases, industry events and presentations to analysts and investors in order to ensure accurate information is transmitted and the investor relations strategy is executed.
• Coordinate with Marketing & Branding and Strategic Research to develop customised communication plans for each group based on investor analysis and group profile so that the information shared is targeted to the specific audience.

Continuous Improvement

• Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.

Reporting

Ensure that all department reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet Group requirements, policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA qualification is a plus
• Proven experience in investor relations within a large financial institution or corporate setting
• Strong understanding of capital markets, debt instruments, and financial analysis
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Strategic thinker with a track record of successful investor engagement and stakeholder management
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality results within tight timelines
• Strong leadership and team management skills
