  • Developing an integrated communications strategy for the company incorporating Customer Communication, Social Media, Internal Comms, Marketing and Online.
  • Implementing communications plans to increase brand awareness and recognition for the organisation.
  • Developing relationships with communication partners to secure and grow coverage both online and offline.
  • Collating and analysing current communications (internal and external) and messages, ensuring consistency.
  • Developing and leading the company\'s internal communication strategy across the Group - locally and internationally.
  • Communicating brand to internal customers and stakeholders.
  • Internally, the corporate communications managers ensure that employees are aware of changes and projects within the company, including all integration activities.
  • They will be responsible for developing executive messages, preparing presentations and internal memos, and conduct meetings to share information.
  • They may develop print materials and support the Head of Digital Marketing & Communications on the brand strategy for employee and external use.
  • Externally, they represent their organization to stakeholders, interested parties, and the public. They develop and distribute materials that may explain or convey the company\'s policies or position on issues.
  • Manage and provide direction for communication via the website, social media outlets, print, and other communication tools.
  • Overseeing the annual communications budget and ensuring its use is fully maximised.
Qualifications
  • Must possess very strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Bachelor\'s degree qualified of 2.1 or above in English, Journalism, Media and Communications or relevant field is a must.
  • Previous experience as a communications manager for a similar organisation would be a strong advantage with a minimum of 8 years\' experience.
  • Highly articulate individual with excellent written communications and confident presentation skills are essential.
  • A proven ability to lead communications strategies in other organisations.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally
  • Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Superior project management and time management skills
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
  • Ability to build strong relationships and engage and motivate teams representing diverse backgrounds and viewpoints.
Additional Information

The VP, Corporate Communications will oversee customer communication, social media content and internal communication for the Group Marketing & Communications function at FAB. Their role is to create, implement and oversee communications programs, be it internal or external, that effectively describes and promote the organizations ambitions and its products.

The VP, Corporate Communications performs a variety of tasks, such as the creation and development of print and online advertising, email marketing, social media management and content development, template development, white papers, corporate videos and marketing collateral. They will also aid in the preparation of presentations and speeches geared toward employees and external reputational management.

This role provides supervision and direction to staff and works closely with the marketing and digital teams. They are also responsible for ensuring all messages are consistent, setting up a robust 360 communications framework for the team and supporting policies.
