Position Summary Hex Trust is growing rapidly, and to cope with that growth we would like to add a Finance professional to the team. We are looking for a VP to focus on corporate accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, and have a keen interest in developing your career in the blockchain industry . Responsibilities

• Responsible for GL reconciliations, month-end closing, preparation of financial reports/schedules
• Keep abreast of regulatory, tax and financial reporting standard changes
• Liaise with external auditors to prepare audited financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Ensure the accurate and timely submission of regulatory and tax returns in compliance with the local requirements
• Responsible for implementation of internal controls and monitoring processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Participate in projects, system implementation and ad hoc tasks

Requirements

• CPA/ACCA with bachelor degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent
• 6+ years of relevant work experience in a finance role. Big 4 audit or Financial Industry experience is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and Arabic)
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player, detail-minded, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/ Google Suite applications
• Experience with Xero accounting software will be an advantage
