JOB TITLE: VNA Forklift Operator (Cold Store Warehouse)

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The core purpose of this position is to ensure safe and efficient handling of stock within the cold store warehouse using VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) forklift equipment. Responsibilities include pallet movements, stacking, bin allocation, and maintaining product integrity while working in -18C frozen storage conditions. The position also focuses on inventory accuracy, adherence to FIFO / FEFO, safety compliance, and maintaining warehouse hygiene and operational discipline.

QUALIFICATIONS:

oMinimum 1-2 years experience operating VNA / Reach Truck in warehouse / cold store environment.

oValid UAE Forklift License (VNA experience preferred).

oAbility to work in -18C temperature (PPE will be provided).

oBasic knowledge of WMS / ERP stock movements.

oPhysically fit and able to follow safety standards.

High School/GED Minimum Preferred

DIMENSIONS OF POSITION:

Safe operation of VNA forklift for product handling inside racks. Maintain inventory accuracy through correct pallet allocation and transfers. Ensure FIFO / FEFO is followed during stock movement. Report damages / quantity issues to Supervisor immediately. Daily safety check of VNA equipment. Maintain cleanliness and discipline inside cold store.

Potential Areas of Accountability:

Safety & Quality

Follow cold store PPE and equipment safety controls. Report temperature deviation / product thawing promptly. Maintain pallet condition, segregation, and proper stacking height.
Inventory Management

Execute pallet put-away and retrieval as per system bin locations. Assist during cycle counts / stock counts. Avoid stock variances through correct scanning and documentation.
Operational Efficiency

Maintain handling speed while ensuring safe operation. Assist warehouse team when required for loading / unloading activities.
PHYSICAL EFFORTS

Must be able to work in

-18C frozen environment

for extended periods (breaks provided).

Physically fit to handle warehouse work routines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
