Key Accountabilities
Roadmap execution
+ Manage and own the end-to-end lifecycle of the product roadmap features, initiatives and technologies while delivering superior digital experience through the Virgin Mobile apps and website
+ Collaborate with rest of the product team and UI/UX designers; brainstorm, storyboard the user journeys, and define a best-in-class digital experience for new and existing Virgin Mobile users
+ Work in Agile development environment and ensure that prioritization is aligned with the larger strategic business goals set out in the product roadmap
+ Own and author the product feature user stories, mock-ups/wireframes for visual aid, and detailed acceptance criteria
Cross-functional conversation enablement
+ Collaborate with all internal stakeholders (Growth, Marketing, Pricing, Finance, Sales, Tech, PMO, Care) to ensure that the execution of product roadmap is in line with the overarching product and business strategies
+ Demonstrate user journeys and designs to senior leadership for aligning on the specific feature experience, as well as on the long-term product strategy
+ Facilitate requirements discussions with developers following the Agile dev cycle, collaborate with them for better comprehension, and align with quality assurance engineers to ensure expected results
+ Liaison with Digital Brand & Comms team to ensure brand tone of voice aligns with the simplicity in digital user experience
+ Periodically sync with stakeholders to apprise about upcoming features and ways to leverage them while engaging with customers
Data driven decision making
+ Recommend A/B tests for app and web experiences, and collaborate with Growth and Tech teams to bring statistically significant tested outcomes to life in these digital touchpoints
+ Collaborate with BI team to analyse data and reports for recommending improvements to existing features and business propositions
+ Highlight product improvements based on quarterly NPS industry reports
+ External collaboration
+ Ensure all internal and external Regulatory driven product requirements are addressed based on assigned priorities and enable internal conversations with relevant stakeholders to reach a win-win-win outcome
+ Collaborate with third-party partners to ensure that inter-dependent features follow Virgin's user experience standards
Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Business
MBA preferred but not required
Experience:
4+ years of experience as a Product Manager for a consumer digital brand
Understanding and fluent usage of a broad spectrum of technologies especially in mobile and payments
Demonstrated skills in developing product roadmaps and functional specifications, launching new products, conducting customer research, and informed user testing
Experience working directly with Engineers and UX designers in an Agile development environment
Prior data analytics experience would add bonus points
Skills
High energy, detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment
Working knowledge of PM tools (e.g. Aha, Atlassian suite, Asana), A/B testing tools (e.g. Apptimize, Optimizely, Unbounce, etc.), Analytics tools (Firebase, Google Analytics) and Design/Prototyping tools (e.g. Zeplin, Invision, Miro etc.)
Possess a strong performance and results orientation
