Job Overview
As a Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining the visual presentation of our IKEA store. This includes setting up accessory shops, activity podiums, Swedish Food Market displays, and more, in alignment with IKEA's global visual identity. You will collaborate with the interior design, sales, and logistics teams to bring functional and inspirational solutions to life.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate visual display setups across the store, including shop windows, activity podiums, and Exit Cafxc3xa9 areas
• Ensure all visual merchandising complies with IKEA concept manuals and branding standards
• Collaborate with Interior Designers to align displays with ongoing commercial activities
• Liaise with Sales and In-Store Logistics teams to support daily operations and promotions
• Execute store commercial calendar events using IKEA's display tools and communication techniques
• Deliver cost-effective, safe, and eco-friendly display solutions in compliance with local regulations
• Conduct research on home furnishing solutions tailored to local market trends

Reporting & MIS

• Participate in planning sessions and provide updates on project execution
• Maintain accurate records of display activities and improvements

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong visualization and communication skills for home furnishing and retail environments
• Excellent command of English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail
• Educational background or experience in interior design or visual merchandising
• Solid understanding of market trends, design aesthetics, and IKEA product presentation standards
