Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Concept Development:
Conceptualize and develop innovative visual merchandising strategies and display concepts for new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and ongoing retail presence, ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines and local market needs.
Execution & Implementation:
Oversee and actively participate in the execution of visual merchandising directives across all assigned retail locations (boutiques, department store counters, pop-ups), ensuring flawless presentation and adherence to luxury standards.
Store Layout & Flow:
Optimize store layouts and product placement to enhance customer journey, highlight key products, and maximize sales potential, while maintaining a premium and uncluttered aesthetic.
Window & In-Store Displays:
Design, create, and install captivating window displays and in-store visual elements that tell a compelling brand story and attract target customers.
Material & Prop Management:
Source and manage high-quality VM props, fixtures, and materials, ensuring they align with the luxury image of the brand and are maintained in impeccable condition.
Visual Mock-ups & Presentations:
Create high-quality 2D and 3D visual mock-ups, planograms, and comprehensive presentations using
Adobe Photoshop
and
Microsoft PowerPoint
to effectively communicate VM concepts and guidelines to stakeholders.
Brand Consistency:
Ensure consistent application of visual merchandising standards and brand guidelines across all retail touchpoints.
Training & Guidance:
Provide training and guidance to retail staff on VM best practices, product presentation, and display maintenance.
Reporting & Analysis:
Conduct regular store visits to assess VM effectiveness, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement. Prepare reports on VM activities and their impact.
Budget Management:
Manage the VM budget effectively, ensuring cost-efficient solutions without compromising quality or brand image.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design, Fashion Marketing, Retail Management, or a related creative field.
Minimum of [e.g., 3-5] years of hands-on visual merchandising experience in a retail environment.
Demonstrable and significant experience in luxury retail, fashion, cosmetics, or fragrance sectors is mandatory.
Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint is essential.
(Knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, or 3D rendering software is a plus).
Strong creative flair, artistic sensibility, and an impeccable eye for detail and aesthetics.
Proven ability to translate brand strategies into impactful visual displays.
Excellent communication (visual, written, and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of retail operations, customer behavior, and sales drivers.
Physical ability to perform VM tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving props/fixtures.
Flexibility to travel to various retail locations as required.
