Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented

Visual Merchandiser

to enhance the aesthetic appeal and customer experience of our furniture showrooms/stores. The ideal candidate will design and implement eye-catching displays and layouts that not only align with our brand identity but also optimize customer engagement and sales.

Key Responsibilities:Visual Merchandising & Display Execution

Develop and execute creative visual merchandising concepts for furniture layouts, accessories, lighting, and decor. Design floor plans that maximize space, product visibility, and customer flow. Set up seasonal themes, promotional campaigns, and new product launches within the showroom.

Brand & Aesthetic Alignment

Ensure that all visual merchandising is in line with brand guidelines and company vision. Regularly refresh displays to reflect current trends, collections, and customer preferences.

Store Planning & Layout

Work with floor plans to optimize the placement of furniture and lifestyle zones. Use planograms, mood boards, and 3D design tools where required.

Collaboration & Communication

Coordinate with the sales, marketing, and inventory teams for stock availability and promotions. Work closely with store staff to train and guide them on maintaining VM standards.

Analysis & Reporting

Monitor customer behavior and engagement with displays. Provide feedback and suggestions to improve layout efficiency and product presentation. Prepare regular VM reports and photo documentation.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial arrangements. Ability to translate brand vision into creative and engaging in-store presentations. Hands-on experience in setting up furniture displays and showroom layouts. Knowledge of current home and furniture trends. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Requirements:

Education:

Diploma/Degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Retail Design, or related field.

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in the furniture or home decor industry.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in design tools like SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar is a plus.

Preferred Attributes:

Passionate about interior design and home styling. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Good aesthetic sense and trend awareness.
