Job Summary:

The Visa Consultant is responsible for advising clients on visa processes, preparing documentation, and ensuring smooth and timely submission of applications for travel, work, study, or immigration purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand and stay updated with visa regulations and requirements for various countries. Guide clients through visa application procedures based on purpose of travel (tourist, business, student, work, immigration, etc.). Assist in collecting and reviewing necessary documents and forms before submission. Book appointment slots for embassy/consulate visits and accompany clients if required. Coordinate with embassies, consulates, VFS/global visa processing centers, and clients for follow-ups and clarifications. Maintain accurate records of all applications and client interactions. Manage client queries related to visa status and provide timely updates. Ensure timely application submissions to meet travel deadlines. Stay informed about travel advisories, country entry rules, and policy changes. Promote value-added services such as travel insurance, attestation, and document translation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Travel, Hospitality, or International Relations). Minimum 1-3 years of experience in visa processing or related travel consultancy. Strong knowledge of visa requirements for major travel destinations (Schengen, USA, UK, Canada, UAE, Australia, etc.). Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and organizational ability. Familiarity with online visa portals and embassy submission procedures. Ability to work independently and handle pressure during peak seasons.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with GDS or CRM systems. Language proficiency in any foreign language is a plus.
