CIC Project Development Trainee - Dubai



Job Purpose



The CIC Project Development Trainee is operating under the supervision of the Global CiC Project Manager. He/She is responsible for managing the procurement process and services by working closely with the ocean carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing, coordination and animation of the sales activity within internal teams (BD/SD's). The CIC Project Development & Strategy trainee will also play a key role in assisting the Global CiC Project Manager with complex projects & studies and will participate in global strategy definition.



Key Accountabilities

Supplier Management:

Negotiate contracts, pricing and delivery terms with supplier. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Key container carriers.

Purchasing:

Prepare and process pricing agreed terms and conditions in compliance with company policies.

Sales Animation:

Coordinate the sales animation with Business Developer and SDs in the regions, facilitate decision making.

Projects & studies:

Assist the CiC Global Project Manager on complex projects and studies.

Strategy:

Assist the CiC Global Project Manager on strategy definition, X sell and yearly budgets.

Ensuring adherence to all regulatory and compliance mandates affecting procurement

Interpersonal & Communication skills :

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.



Must have excellent communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.



FRENCH and ENGLISH Mandatory



SPANISH preferred
