Vice President (vp) – Exploration & Production
Job Description
About the Role:
As Vice President of Exploration & Production, you will oversee upstream operations from seismic acquisition to field development and drilling. You will lead teams across multiple geographies, ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale exploration programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and execute exploration & production strategies in high-potential basins.
Oversee reservoir management, drilling operations, and field development.
Work closely with technical and engineering teams to ensure safe, cost-effective output.
Manage multi-million-dollar budgets and CAPEX/OPEX investments.
Ensure strict compliance with HSE and environmental sustainability protocols.
Collaborate with international partners, contractors, and government regulators.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's in Petroleum Engineering, Geosciences, or related fields.
15+ years in upstream operations with significant leadership exposure.
Expertise in GCC or MENA region basins.
Familiarity with enhanced oil recovery, unconventional reserves, and digital oilfield technology.
Track record of increasing reserves and optimizing production.
