Vice President - Precious Metals (Treasury Sales)
A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Vice President to join its Treasury Sales team, focusing on physical gold, gold loans, and related precious metals products. This is a front-office role responsible for managing and expanding a physical gold book, developing new revenue streams, and cross-selling treasury products including FX, derivatives, and structured deposits.
Key Responsibilities:
A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Vice President to join its Treasury Sales team, focusing on physical gold, gold loans, and related precious metals products. This is a front-office role responsible for managing and expanding a physical gold book, developing new revenue streams, and cross-selling treasury products including FX, derivatives, and structured deposits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business development with bullion traders, refiners, and jewelers across local and international markets.
- Manage end-to-end execution of gold consignments, repo facilities, and physical gold transactions.
- Advise clients on hedging strategies and market risk across gold and FX portfolios.
- Collaborate with internal teams and relationship managers to identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Monitor global market trends and develop actionable trading and pricing strategies.
- 10+ years of experience in treasury, trading, or commodities with a focus on precious metals and FX.
- Proven track record in physical gold and derivatives sales.
- Strong client management skills and understanding of regulatory and operational risk frameworks.
- Background in banking or financial institutions preferred.
- Fluent in using Bloomberg, Reuters, and relevant trading platforms.
