As we continue to grow, we are looking to welcome a
compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Technician
to join our expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia under the direction of a veterinarian and monitor patient responses
Provide care and monitoring for animals recovering from surgery
Maintain
controlled drug logs
and manage medical and pharmaceutical inventory
Perform laboratory procedures including
blood sampling, IV catheterization
, and in-house tests
Prepare animals for surgery (clipping, cleaning, and positioning)
Assist veterinarians during physical examinations and treatments
Take and develop
diagnostic radiographs (X-rays)
Prepare and maintain treatment and surgical areas
Clean, sterilize, and maintain medical wards, instruments, and equipment
Fill prescriptions accurately and label medications correctly
Collect, prepare, and label samples for laboratory testing
Dress and suture wounds and apply splints or protective devices, as directed
Maintain accurate medical records and inventory logs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in veterinary science or veterinary
Technician degree
UAE equivalization required
