Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team at a well-established small animal clinic. However,

please note that veterinarians are not eligible to apply for this position.

Responsibilities:

- Assist veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care to small animals, including dogs, cats, and other companion animals.

- Perform various

technical procedures

, such as administering medications, collecting samples, running diagnostic tests, and assisting with surgical procedures.

- Provide compassionate

nursing care

to hospitalized animals, including monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, and ensuring a clean and comfortable environment.

Educate pet owners

on proper animal care, including medication administration, nutrition, and preventive health measures.

Maintain accurate medical records

and ensure compliance with clinic protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

- At least three years experience in a small animal clinic (in GCC).

- Strong knowledge of small animal medicine, anatomy, and common diseases.

- Proficiency in technical skills, such as radiography, anesthesia monitoring, and dental prophylaxis.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to compassionately interact with clients and provide clear instructions.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays as needed.
