We are looking for a skilled and passionate
Veterinary Nurse
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a veterinary clinic, assisting with medical procedures, handling animals, and providing excellent customer service to pet owners.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
Perform basic medical procedures such as injections, wound care, and sample collection
Monitor and care for hospitalized pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being
Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medications, and general pet health
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in treatment areas and equipment
Administer anesthesia under supervision and monitor patients during procedures
Keep accurate medical records and assist in inventory management of veterinary supplies
Requirements:
Minimum
1 year of experience
as a veterinary nurse or in a similar role
Diploma or certification in veterinary nursing/animal care is preferred
Strong knowledge of animal handling, medical procedures, and patient care
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
Passion for animals and commitment to their well-being
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies professionally
