Job Description

You will be an integral part of Cloud 9 Pet hotel & Care team, assisting with a variety of tasks to ensure that our patients receive the best care possible. You will be responsible for providing clinical nursing care, supporting veterinarians during surgeries and treatments, and offering education and advice to pet owners.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in the preparation and administration of medications, vaccinations, and treatments Monitor and care for patients in recovery from anesthesia or surgery Conduct laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures (e.g., blood work, urinalysis) Provide nursing care, including wound care, bandaging, and administering IV fluids Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures and diagnostic examinations Educate clients on pet health, nutrition, and preventative care Maintain accurate medical records and assist with inventory management Provide compassionate care and ensure a positive experience for patients and clients

Requirements:



Qualified Veterinary Nurse with recognized certification or equivalent experience Previous experience in a veterinary practice is highly preferred Strong clinical skills with a passion for animal care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
