Job Description

A veterinary assistant, holding a two years veterinary diploma (a female assistant on a husband visa is PREFERRED) Must have minimum of 2 years UAE experience working with pets.

Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians during animal examinations. Ensure safe and effective animal control during examinations. Properly collect blood, urine, and fecal samples and prepare them for laboratory testing. Assist during radiography and ultrasound. Insert intravenous and urinary catheters. Oversee the cleaning of cages, surgery and examination rooms, and administer medications and food to patients admitted Performing proper and accurate cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments, as well as preparing operating rooms prior to surgery. Assisting with anesthesia for animals when necessary. Experience in using computers and monitoring inventory of medications and materials used in the clinic. to the clinic.

Requirements:

Minimum of two years of previous experience in UAE. Great team player. Ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and interaction skills and good social behavior with the team and customers. Fluent English plus one more language (Arabic or Tagalog is preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,700.00 per month
