Key Responsibilities:

Veterinary Assistant Duties:

Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and minor procedures. Restrain animals safely and compassionately. Prepare examination rooms and clean equipment before and after use. Administer medications or treatments under veterinary supervision. Monitor animals' behavior and health conditions, reporting any concerns. Maintain accurate medical records and patient files. Assist with lab work, diagnostic procedures, and sample collection (e.g., stool, urine). Sanitize cages, kennels, and clinic areas according to hygiene protocols.
Grooming Assistant Duties:

Support professional groomers with bathing, drying, brushing, and de-shedding pets. Gently restrain and calm pets during grooming procedures. Prepare grooming tools and sanitize grooming areas and equipment. Assist with nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other hygiene tasks as needed. Identify and report skin or coat issues to the grooming team or veterinary staff. Ensure pets are clean, safe, and well cared for throughout the grooming process.

Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary or grooming setting (UAE experience preferred). Certificate in animal care, veterinary nursing, or pet grooming is a plus. Comfortable handling cats, dogs, and other small animals. Basic understanding of pet health, hygiene, and safety standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus). Physically fit and able to lift or handle pets up to 25 kg. Compassionate, patient, and committed to animal welfare.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month

Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
