Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Vendor Development Coordinator to join the Vendor Management team. The ideal candidate will have a background in law (LLB) and be responsible for developing and managing a reliable supplier base, handling supplier and client registrations, and coordinating supplier approvals with end users. This role involves extensive coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to streamline sourcing, documentation, and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers based on project requirements
Maintain and regularly update vendor and client master databases
Manage supplier and client registration processes, including documentation and portal entries
Draft and send Agency Agreements to selected suppliers and ensure timely execution and proper registration
Coordinate supplier approval processes with end users/clients based on specific project needs
Ensure vendors meet quality, technical, and compliance standards
Conduct periodic audits and vendor performance reviews
Collaborate with procurement, sales, and engineering departments to align vendor capabilities with project goals
Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
Resolve vendor issues and ensure smooth communication between all stakeholders
Key Skills & Competencies:
Educational background: LLB (Bachelor of Laws) is required
Strong coordination, communication, and negotiation abilities
Experience in handling agency agreements and vendor registration processes
Familiarity with ERP systems such as CORE, SAP, or Oracle
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines
Sound understanding of compliance, legal documentation, and vendor evaluation criteria
