Job Description

Should be highly proficient in Electrical CAD tools with focus on creating detailed designs of vehicle electrical systems and hardware. Develop requirements, create concepts and design the appropriate equipment to meet needs of Business. Perform analyses to optimize designs and predict performance, create and review technical data packages, integrate the designed components and assemblies, and test the components and assemblies to ensure compliance to established requirements. Ensures the process as per ISO Standards, company policies, manuals, procedures and work instructions. MAJORDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage subsystem functional and interface requirements.
• Develops design concepts and prototypes to confirm requirements and user needs.
• Develops solution alternatives and conducts trade studies for making design decisions.
• Researches material and component cost and availability.
• Creates Electrical Drawings and detailed designs of Electrical systems and hardware. This includes cable harness and routing
• Creates electrical final drawings and specifications, parts lists, Estimates material, component and assembly costs, Balances cost, performance, quality, reliability, maintainability, testability, and manufacturability and the overall design risk.
• Integrates designs or supports integration into next higher-level assemblies.
• Leads testing of produced designs and defines the criteria to established test plans or criteria.

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering with 5+ experience in detailed design of electrical systems, hardware and software (Electrical CAD).
• Experience in the development of specific automotive sub-systems required.
• Experience with tactical, combat or support ground vehicles preferred.
